This is a wonderful article, Carmellita. Whatever is our usual/preferred type of writing we need to challenge ourselves by trying different styles and genres from time to time. I write mainly poetry but I love to extend myself and write short fiction and essays from time to time. Medium is a great place to extend ourselves and take on new challenges.
