This is an excellent article, Daniel, and I agree totally. As a freelance writer I am often required to write things that I would never choose to write for myself and it isn’t always enjoyable, but that’s where most of the money is. At sites like Medium, I write for myself and the on the subjects that interest me. If others enjoy reading it too that’s great, and any money I make is just a bonus. I don’t even think about the money when writing here, but you do offer good advice.
