This is an excellent article, Mark. The Idiot’s Guide to Parenting or something similar should be compulsory reading before taking on the role of a parent whether that is planned or by accident.
But then, the teenage years are difficult, they always seem to find a new way of testing us and pushing boundaries. We always want what’s best for them, but convincing them of that is the problem. Fortunately they don’t stay teenagers forever.
