This poem is a combination of beautiful, sad, and awakening. I can’t imagine not being able to see the stars, but so many of us go through life taking things for granted. We don’t show the appreciation we should for being able to see, or hear, the beauty of the world that surrounds us. Your poem is a wake up call. Thank you, Patricia.
