This was a delightful story, Laney. Sometimes the most unlikely animals form bonds with humans. I have seen a lot of videos lately of humans who have iguanas as pets and they seem so affectionate.

We used to have two geese and when ever we took the dogs for a walk the geese would follow flapping and honking. One was also a pick pocket, and if we had friends over for say a bbq...the goose would put his beak into their pockets to check if they had treats...he often flapped off with a wallet or phone etc.
