This was a great read as always, Brett. You may not have the greenest of thumbs, but at least you know enough to keep most of your plants alive. I like cactus and succulents too for that reason. Hard to go wrong … and tequila mmm.
I can relate to those dried out, frizzled African Violets. I bought a related plant (same family) … instructions said it enjoyed lots of light, so I made the mistake of sitting it in the sun. Well, it couldn’t handled the heat could it. They love being inside in a bathroom where there is some humidity and just indoor light or second hand sunlight. Trimmed off the frazzled bits, put it in bathroom and it is now thriving.
