I am excited by the changes that have been made already, the paid membership requirement, and expansion to include other countries in the paywall. All positives. I ahvee seen personally the increased engagement on my articles, stories, and poems, and it appears to be an upward trajectory. I have been a member of other sites that rely on advertising revenue, and they are giving less and less importance to the writers and the articles. it is advertising overload, and hard to find the article hiding amongst it. I am so glad Medium defied the trend to go in that direction.
