Tze Lin, this really struck a sore point with me. I phoned the bank to change an old address and phone number which I noticed they still had on my account. When I called they asked me my phone banking pin number, well it had been over ten years since I used that, if ever. I never use phone banking, just Internet. So, I guessed and of course was wrong. Then they asked what my home phone number was or something and I gave my current one, which of course didn't match their records. I was getting irate at this stage because all I wanted to do was upgrade their records. Then she rudely said, because your answers don't match our records we have no choice but to lock your account. You will have to go to a branch to unlock it and alter your details. I told her the closest branch was 90 minutes drive away. They have closed the branch in our town. She rudely told me that was my only option, and to rub salt in the wounds, "Is there anything else I can help you with today?" Well she could just go and get stuffed.
