The story takes a turn
Random word 157: “turn”: Twister — Start the story with “Her shoes were too tight …”
Her shoes were too tight … but so be it.
She left him in the bathroom. No words of goodbye were exchanged as she adjusted her gloves, turned the door lock, and quietly exited the apartment.
His lifeless eyes seemed to stare pleadingly out the wide bathroom window, as his body continued to spasm. The now-dead hair dryer still dangled from its cord in the spa bath.
No longer posing as a witness protection security guard, Graham took two short phone calls. The second was from Charles McDowell……. He answered, “It’s done! All went to plan,” and hung up.
