Wonderful imagery and alliteration in this excellent poem, Audrey.

we mouth the words we read 
push them into reality, carve out the light 
sheltering on the lee side — 
words and wind twist into godlike forms 
granted eternal ethernet life, with no off-switch 
I park them outside 
let them roost in the eaves 
to remind the wind that I am still here
