You are lucky to get a client like that. I had a couple of clients say that the work I delivered was different to what they expected and wanted to cancel the order even though I agreed to make changes. I honestly believe they used what I wrote but just didn’t want to pay.
If that is the case I also publish what I wrote for them elsewhere online under copyright immediately, so they can’t use it exclusively somewhere.
