You are not alone, Kendra. Though I haven’t tried writing a novel, I often go through pieces I have written weeks before and am shocked by the amount of typos or mistakes I missed, or thought how corny the writing was. I usually managed to correct and salvage it, but once or twice I have totally scrapped the piece.
I hope you can resurrect your novel though, there would be too much blood and sweat in that to have to scrap it. Good luck.
