You state many truths here about writing, Leonard. We can’t appeal to all the people all the time. It is part of the reason I like to not stick to a niche … eventually writing continuously about the same topic would bore me to death, so I am sure would do the same to my audience.
This way, some will read my poetry, others my Drabbles or short fiction, and others still my non-fiction articles. I don’t expect all my followers to read everything I write. If people that I follow publish more than every second day then I probably don’t read everything they write either. I feel we can publish too often, which can overwhelm our followers.

We just need to write the best we can, and from the heart and be happy with the reads we do get.
